Here's a list of words that some of you may not understand, I'll try my best with the translations

Lekker - loosely translated as "nice", though it's more like "HELL YES, that's good".

Gallas - and arabic word that means enough / finished

Habibi - arabic, means darling/sweetheart/lovey/sweetie

Inshallah - arabic, "god willing", and they will use it in every possible and impossible situation. Mostly when you feel so frustrated you can scream

Braai - a BBQ

Nogal - "none the less"

Stoep - veranda-type area

Mugg & Bean - South African coffee shop franchise of which we have two here in Abu Dhabi

Hamdulla - Arabic expression meaning "thanks be to God"

EWAB - Extreme Work Avoidance Behaviour

I got THIS:

"Thank You" is such a small concept right now. And I'll let you know, the new technology is SO cool, I'm already typing this post on it and I've already had a video call with my in-laws!! It's going to be a GOOD birthday! :)

Oh Mazzie! I know both our men are Virgo's and that would explain both of us getting similar pressies for our birthdays!! That is just the sweetest video ever! Am sending it to my Simon STRAYT AWAHY!!
